Last week we tackled our second summer bucket list item, a visit to the zoo! My boys love going to the zoo, we love the animals and just walking around and doing some observing. We have a zoo membership and visit quite often. Our local zoo is a bit on the smaller side but still has a good amount of animals to observe. It always seems that when we visit the animals are either napping or just laying around, but that day we got to see a lot of action! I'm not sure if it was because of the cooler temperatures or what but the river hogs were chasing each other, the monkeys were swinging and the snakes were moving! A great day in my boys minds!
